We are pleased to inaugurate, for the third time, the exhibition featuring a selection of the winners of the The Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest.

The exhibition will open on April 7 at 19:00 at UK Parobrod.

The Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest is an annual contest for young photojournalists aged between 18 and 33.
The contest was founded on December 22, 2014 by the Rossiya Segodnya Media Group under the auspices of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.
The contest is the only international platform in Russia to discover emerging talents in photojournalism, uphold and develop high standards, and establish criteria for the quality of documentary photography.
The contest aims to support young photojournalists in their pursuit of professional excellence, as well as professional photographers aged 34 and over through the new Energy of Life category, introduced for the first time this year. In the contest, young reporters from around the world share what they are passionate about. The main themes of their works include global humanitarian challenges, the preservation of national identity and issues of social equality, and environmental concerns.
A special feature of the contest is the annual exhibition tours, which traditionally begin in Moscow in the autumn, following the announcement of the Grand Prix, the main award of the contest. Exhibitions of the winners’ works have reached audiences in dozens of countries, including China, South Africa, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Türkiye, Lebanon, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Poland and Egypt among others.
This year’s edition received over 2,000 entries from 40 countries worldwide with the winners from Bangladesh, Brazil, Georgia, Indonesia, India, Spain, China, Russia. In 2026 international exhibitions will take place in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Middle East.

Izložbe radova nagrađenih autora predstavljene su publici u desetinama zemalja, uključujući Kinu, Južnu Afriku, Meksiko, Argentinu, Urugvaj, Kolumbiju, Demokratsku Republiku Kongo, Tursku, Liban, Nemačku, Španiju, Italiju, Grčku, Mađarsku, Poljsku i Egipat i druge.

The project, An Enlightening Journey, celebrates the resilience and strength of students from the FLS (French as a Schooling Language) program at J.B.

Corot High School. These students, often arriving alone after traumatic journeys, face numerous challenges integrating into French society. The project’s aim is to combat discrimination by highlighting their unique stories through an artistic series that includes portraits, video interviews, and texts. These students, overcoming language barriers and past traumas, showcase their journeys of hope and perseverance.

The program, essential for their integration, helps students progress into vocational training and find better job opportunities. The project brings together former students, now financially independent and settled, with current students aiming for certification (C.A.P or BAC PRO). It fosters connections, offering a platform for interaction both online and in-person
during exhibitions and meet-ups.

Photographic portraits provide a way for these young people, who often struggle with verbal expression due to cultural differences, trauma and language barriers, to tell their stories. This initiative also addresses the challenges of learning French amid migration-related difficulties. Concerning the photographic part of the project, the artistic vision is led by Juliette de Cuzey, a self-taught French photographer whose work has mainly been focused on underrepresented communities.

ULIETTE de CUZEY
Prosvetljujuće putovanje/An Enlightening Journey

Fotografija, priče i upornost učenika srednje škole Ž.B. Koro

Kroz snažan spoj fotografskih portreta, video intervjua i ličnih tekstova, projekat priča njihove priče — priče obeležene traumom, istrajnošću i nadom u novi život.

Pored podizanja svesti o njihovom putu, Prosvetljujuće putovanje aktivno se bori protiv diskriminacije i promoviše empatiju putem izložbi, susreta uživo i digitalne platforme:  parcours-lumineux.eu
